In other news I'm going to be in Indiana next week while Kerri is at camp. It will be good to connect with some family and a friend.

This week I am spending a few days helping in the kitchen at camp. It was fun to at least spend a little bit of time in that environment. The kids have so much energy and are learning so much. It also is giving me something to do while I'm waiting to leave for the Middle East.

Heading Home

I am waiting in the Harrisburg Airport, getting ready to fly home to Iowa, and it's still surreal that the summer is halfway through. I kept telling everyone that after I get home from PA I'll have about six weeks before I head overseas, and now here I am...and I have six more weeks in the States! Craziness...

The countdown is on!
